PACKING RECOMMENDATIONS
Packaging
The packaging organization must comply with this document and
the technical specification with the list of components provided by SM Custom
packaging to the client.
The type of packaging must be used to meet the sea, air, or land
transportation (domestic or international, depending on the route) for
packaging.
SM Custom packaging is providing the best custom packaging for small business.
Packaging must be done in such a way as to meet the following
requirements at least:
- Preventing
damage to goods;
- Compliance
with storage instructions;
- The
simplicity of loading and unloading operations;
- Clear
markings for easy identification of parts and final destination address;
- All signs that
determine the requirements for loading operations must be clear and easily
identifiable;
- For the
manufacture of packaging, only high-quality materials should be used, by
industry standards
The control and manufacturing quality of the packaging must be
carried out by the quality assurance policy of SM Custom Packaging and its
client. The procedure for controlling the quality of packaging should be
carried out throughout the entire packaging procedure.

Acceptance and
initial inspection
- Upon receipt
of the SM Custom Packaging equipment, the product must be visually
inspected for external damage during transportation.
- Any data
showing signs of damage or foreign objects must be immediately reported to
SM Custom Packaging.
- Depending on
the size and weight of the material, the unloading is done with a forklift
or crane.
- When
unloading, every precaution must be taken to prevent any damage.
Cleaning and
preservation
- The product
must be cleaned with an appropriate tool or material to remove any possible
contamination.
- It is
forbidden to use solvent or any chemical compounds in the cleaning
process. This can damage equipment and components.
- The product
must be vacuum-packed by Marvel, or a similar manufacturer, with a
desiccant inside. The desiccant must absorb and retain moisture inside the
package.
- Boxes should
be as tightly sealed as possible and serve as an insulating material for
equipment and components.
Packaging
- The product
must be packed so that the material of the boxes and boxes complies with
domestic and international recommendations and guidelines for the
standardization of packaging.
- Particular
attention should be paid to the shipping, packing, and transport
specifications of SM Custom Packaging.
- The lumber
used in production must be new, free of knots and signs of decay.
- Nails should
be with a spiral cut for a more reliable fixation of the tree. The length
of the nails is selected so that they do not go through the tree.
- Materials
should be additionally securely packed and occupy the smallest possible
volume.
- Consoles,
attachments, and cabinets must be bolted and tied to the base of the boxes

- Loose cables
and wires should be laid and bundled to ensure minimum volume.
Transportation in a
container
- Materials,
before packing, should be placed in boxes to ensure the best weight
distribution.
- All boxes,
on both sides, must be marked with the place of delivery; they must be
equipped with shock sensors, a center of gravity mark, and all standard
international symbols to guarantee the complete integrity of the
equipment.
- The
equipment must be secured and secured with struts to prevent any movement
or displacement within the box, and must also be protected from friction,
bending, scratches, and damage that may occur during transport and
loading.
- Any
additional boxes must be securely fixed in the box to avoid damage to the
equipment and its accessories.
Documents,
Identification, and Marking
- Each box or
box is packed with packing indicating the weight, size, and a detailed
list of equipment and materials packed in the box.
- Domestic or
international guidelines must mark all boxes for marking and symbols. The
font must be at least 1 inch (25.4 mm) high.
- The marking
must include, as a minimum, the following information: destination, return
address, post office number, loading instructions, net and gross weights,
and any special instructions.
- Check and
make sure the shipping, labeling, and identification instructions match
the SM Custom Packaging clients.
Drawer structure
- The base
should consist of a main supporting element extending over the entire
length of the box.
- Tie-boards
should connect the load-bearing elements to provide easy gripping for
handling by fork or crane equipment.
- The deck
consists of continuous planking to reinforce the rails.
- The main
structure and support of the box should consist of retaining walls
attached to the bottom with nails.
- The roof
structure shall consist of a cover base resting on an upper frame at right
angles to the uprights in the longitudinal direction of the box.
- The entire
box must be fully sheathed with plywood, at least 10 mm thick.
- For extra
strength, the outer surface of the box should be sheathed with an
additional crate.
